A Downtown Calgary Street Was Closed After Glass Fell From A Hotel Window

The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. when a window at the Courtyard Marriott on 5 Avenue SW between 5th and 4th Street SW fell from the building onto the street below.
The Calgary Fire Service technical crew is on scene trying to secure the loose glass using a protective film.
CFD is monitoring the wind speed and a glass repair company has been called.
There is no need for injuries.
The road in the area is closed.
