They were hit in the 100 block of Cornerbrook Gate NE and rushed to the hospital in what EMS said was potentially life-threatening condition. Police did not release the child’s age or gender. A child’s scooter could be seen lying on a patch of grass by the side of the road. Police say they are speaking with several witnesses who were in the area at the time of the crash.
